What is a “little”? Well, it is a lifestyle/relationship dynamic of the age play variety. And age play typically falls under the BDSM category of lifestyles.
What is age play? In my own interpolated words it is where one or both people in a relationship act a different age than their biological age. This can be in the form of role-play (pretend), age regression/acceleration (reverting or increasing of one’s age persona), and/or a core personality trait (much like if someone is either shy by nature or outgoing).
For more information on age play there are several posts on the internet. However, here is the Wikipedia post on it. And AgePlay101 does a great job of explaining it too. Though i disagree with the statement “AgePlay usually involves an individual pretending to be younger than they are”. This is clarified as to why in the paragraph above.
Please let me clarify something though before you read further. i am a personality type age player where i am a “little”, so is my Husband. He is my “caregiver”. However, i 100% believe and support that no one way to age play is better than the other. All ways of consensual age play are valid. There is no such thing as a “one true little”. Just because my core functionality as a person puts me in “little space” 24/7, it does not mean i am better than any other age player.
